</U></B></I></div> <bR> <bR> <bR> <bR> <div> <I><B><IMG SRC="0701e3e0.gif" border=0 width="286" height="62" ALIGN="BOTTOM" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0"></B></I></div> <div> <B><IMG SRC="06f1a190.gif" border=0 width="282" height="25" ALIGN="BOTTOM" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0"></B></div> <bR> <div> <B><IMG SRC="071859a0.gif" border=0 width="133" height="154" ALIGN="BOTTOM" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0"></B></div> <bR> <div> <I><B>Gerry Tebbe started playing piano at age 5, and received his first guitar at age 6.  He played electric guitar in his first band at age 12, and then CO-founded a local rock group that is still performing today, </B></I><I><B><U>Yesterday's Children</U></B></I><I><B>.  Gerry then moved on to working as a session bass player for a number of Detroit-area artists, playing Country and Western, Jazz and Rock.</B></I></div> <bR> <div> <I><B>Gerry played Bass on a friend's demo tape that was sent to </B></I><I><B><U>Phil Collins</U></B></I><I><B>, who was auditioning drummers for his new band, </B></I><I><B><U>Brand X</U></B></I><I><B>.  This tape eventually made its way to Rock & Roll music legend </B></I><I><B><U>Roy Orbison</U></B></I><I><B>, who took Gerry on tour with him in the late 70's.  That same demo tape led Gerry to many recordings with Motown's Grammy-winning song writing team, </B></I><I><B><U>Glover and Dean </U></B></I><I><B>('What Becomes Of The Brokenhearted' recorded by Jimmy Ruffin, 'Have You Seen Her' recorded by The Chi-Lites, 'You Don't Have To Be A Star To Be In My Show' and 'I Hope We Get To Love In Time', both recorded by Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr.). </B></I></div> <bR> <div> <I><B>Later, CO-founding the Jazz trio </B></I><I><B><U>Et Cetera</U></B></I><I><B>, Gerry worked in many notable local clubs of the time, such as The Inn Between, The Old World Café and The Wagon Wheel. </B></I></div> <bR> <div> <I><B> Through the 80's and 90's Gerry appeared with the group </B></I><I><B><U>Burgundy</U></B></I><I><B> and entertained at The Village Club and The Bloomfield Hunt Club in Birmingham, and The Rooster Tail in Detroit.  He also performed with </B></I><I><B><U>Dr. Joyce and The Brothers</U></B></I><I><B>, a group that spent a great deal of time contributing their talents to worthy charitable organizations such as the Macomb County Rotating Emergency Shelter Team (MCREST).  In 1994 Gerry received special commendations for his work with the Schultz-Lewis Children's Foundation in Valparaiso, Indiana.  </B></I></div> <bR> <div> <I><B>In 1999, Gerry crossed paths with Joe Tackett, and discovered that a multitude of incredible coincidences between them seems to have predestined their coming together at this point in time.  The result is Detroit's most entertaining musical duo:</B></I></div> <bR> <bR> <DIV ALIGN="LEFT"></DIV> <div> <B><IMG SRC="063d73e0.gif" border=0 width="471" height="62" ALIGN="BOTTOM" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0"></B></div> <div> <B><IMG SRC="064341b0.gif" border=0 width="308" height="27" ALIGN="BOTTOM" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0"></B></div> <bR> <div> <I><B>The  Future  will  soon  be  History!</B></I></div> <bR> <div> <I><B><U>Find Your Way Back To The Greatest Hits of All Time With The WayBack Machine!
